I didn't get to make it to my good friend's wedding.  I saw some pictures on facebook and saw that her colors were yellow - so I decided to make a yellow card.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.  I love that our punches have so much versatility - like just using one side of the Modern Label Punch - so cute!

Accessories

We have been having fun making lots of fun accessories for Brenalee's hair and clothes.  Today we made lots of flowers.  So easy!

Using the Fun Flowers Bigz Die, we cut out some nylon fabric.  Held it together with a clear rhinestone brad, heated the fabric until it started melting and ta-dah!  A beautiful flower!

Back to School Banner

I saw on some blog a cute back to school count down and thought it would be fun for us to do.  I used just whatever scraps I had lying around - so some of it is retired Stampin' Up! products. 

 All the letters have quotes inside of them.  Every morning starting tomorrow we will read one of the quotes.  There are 12 letters and tomorrow is only 12 days until school starts.  I can't believe how fast this summer went.

I'm not sure I'm ready for summer to be over.

Easy Events

This was a very quick and easy thank you card.  It features a "z-fold" which is a fun fold that is still a normal A2 greeting sized card.  Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock.  Score it at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4" - that's it!  You can see that it makes a Z here:

 The convention center was all decked out for us!  It was such an exciting few days!

Silhouette Sentiments and my favorite DSP

It may seem like I have been using this Springtime Vintage DSP a lot - because I have.  I love it!  I had lots of scraps sitting on my stampin' desk.  I put them all together and came up with this.  The embossed paper was from the flower a couple of posts down, the puches were sitting on my desk ready to be used.  I did stamp the flowers from Silhouette Sentiments, but that was the only piece of "scrap" not sitting on my desk.  I really like those delicate flowers in the Silhouette Sentiments stamp set.  This time I colored the flowers with the Baja Breeze marker, and the inside of the flower with the Not Quite Navy marker.  I love the way this turned out!

I usually put ribbon on every card I make.  This card has no ribbon and it's bugging me!  But, I couldn't really find a good place to put it, and it looked like it had to much on it if I added it.  I love the way my flower turned out though!

March 23, 9am - Project Day!  Come stamp the morning away with me and others who love to stamp!  Bring all your own consumables, my tools will be available for you to use!  Please let me know the day before if you will be coming!

I saw this flower on some post and just loved it!  It was so easy to do.  Just take a strip of paper that has been punched, then lay it around a piece of sticky page in the shape of a flower - so easy!
