Courage

I got a package from UPS with FREE stamp sets!  I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I have been wanting this Courage set for a while now and am glad I finally have it.  I made the top card first - but it wasn't quite what I was imagining in my head.  So I started again and came up with the second card.  I like the second one better - what do you think?

I haven't been able to attend convention since 2007.  This year I was determined to make it!  I had such a great time!  Can't wait for next year!

 One of the fun things at convention is the swapping of cards!  I didn't swap any this year, so I took photos of my friends' swaps.

 The convention center was all decked out for us!  It was such an exciting few days!

Silhouette Sentiments and my favorite DSP

It may seem like I have been using this Springtime Vintage DSP a lot - because I have.  I love it!  I had lots of scraps sitting on my stampin' desk.  I put them all together and came up with this.  The embossed paper was from the flower a couple of posts down, the puches were sitting on my desk ready to be used.  I did stamp the flowers from Silhouette Sentiments, but that was the only piece of "scrap" not sitting on my desk.  I really like those delicate flowers in the Silhouette Sentiments stamp set.  This time I colored the flowers with the Baja Breeze marker, and the inside of the flower with the Not Quite Navy marker.  I love the way this turned out!

I love all the sewing stamps and accessories in the mini catalog!  I think they are sew cute!  This card makes me happy to look at it - I think all the bright colors have something to do with it.

Blossom Petals Punch

I usually put ribbon on every card I make.  This card has no ribbon and it's bugging me!  But, I couldn't really find a good place to put it, and it looked like it had to much on it if I added it.  I love the way my flower turned out though!

March 10, 7:30pm - Project Night!  Come stamp the night away with me and others who love to stamp!  Bring all your own consumables, my tools will be available for you to use!  Please let me know the day before if you will be coming!

March 19, 3pm - It's all about the Flowers stamp camp!  Come make some great projects with flowers!  This is the same class I offered in February.  I am doing it again because I had to cancel the last one due to an unexpected trip out of town.  Cost is $20 - includes all your supplies, please bring your own adhesive.  Please RSVP to me by March 14.

March 23, 9am - Project Day!  Come stamp the morning away with me and others who love to stamp!  Bring all your own consumables, my tools will be available for you to use!  Please let me know the day before if you will be coming!
