Happy October, Stampers!

Just a few notes for October.

Stampin’ Up! has just announced a new website dedicated to My Digital Studio projects  http://mydigitalstudio.net/.  Be sure to check it out.  It’s a great on-line community to share your MDS projects, receive tips on how to use the program, and interaction with other MDS lovers.

Tuesday, October 12, 7 p.m. Project Night!  Come join me and others who love to stamp and work on your own projects!  Please bring all your own supplies (adhesive, cardstock, etc.)  I will have my Stampin' Up! tools available for you to use.  Fee: FREE!  Let me know you are coming by Monday, October 11.

Tuesday, October 19, 9:30 a.m. Project Day!  I'm wondering if we have a few people who are home in the day and would rather come work on projects in the day.  Come join me and others who love to stamp and work on your own projects!  Please bring all your own supplies (adhesive, cardstock, etc.)  I will have my Stampin' Up! tools available for you to use.  Fee: FREE!  Let me know you will be coming by Monday, October 18.

Saturday, October 23, 4 p.m.  Stamp-a-Stack Stamp Camp.    Ready to get a head start on your Christmas cards?  Five designs will be available for you to create 15 cards - 3 of each design.  All supplies will be provided except SNAIL adhesive.  Please bring your own.  Fee:  $20 includes envelopes!  ($5 off when you place a $40 the night of the class).   RSVP by October 16.  (A picture of all 5 cards will be posted by Oct. 11.)

Baroque Motifs

I saw these colors on the Color Coach and thought they looked nice.  I put them together and they are gorgeous!  Love it - and it looks so much better in person too!  I did a joy fold card - it's fun to have different folds for cards sometimes!

Wonderful Favorites

I love fall!  I would love it even more if I could put on my sweaters and jeans.  I love fall colors and cool fall evenings.  I also love this card!  I love the dsp from Stampin' Up! and that it coordinates so nicely with the Stampin' Up! color families.  This is the Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper in the new Holiday mini catalog - isn't it so pretty?  I love the colors!

Save the Date Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack

Fun & Fast Notes

I saw this adorable way to change the top note and had to try it!  I LOVE it!  I am now convinced that the Big Shot and the Top Note die are a MUST HAVE!  I watercolored the image with re-inkers and an aqua painter.  I'm not the best watercolorer by any means, but I do like the look of watercoloring.  I love the watercolor paper that Stampin' Up! sells - it's 140lb so you can get it all wet and it won't crinkle up on you.

Northern Hearts

I can't stop thinking about Christmas Cards!  I wanted to do the textured impressions folder on some brushed silver cardstock and this is what I came up with.  It's so shimmery!  After I ran the brushed silver through the Big Shot to get the textured impression on there, I then ran my White Craft Pad over the snowflakes to get them to pop off the Brushed Silver cardstock.  So pretty!

Apparently I am really into Old Olive right now!  I once again used the awesome Color Coach from Stampin' Up! and the color combo was Old Olive, Not Quite Navy and Cajun Craze.  I think I'm also addicted to my Big Shot since I can't seem to make a card without it!

Halloween stamp camp!

Halloween stamp camp!  Come make a scrapbook page, a Halloween card, adorable glass jar with rub-ons, and a cute celo bag with topper and candy!  Think how much fun it would be to give these to your kids' teachers, neighbors, co-workers or friends as a fun Halloween treat!!  They would love it - and think you so creative!
